The goal is to make the music as good as possible. We need to touch up the songs and make sure they communicate the project’s vision. There’s nothing better for that than and outside & expert opinion. At this stage, egos are left at the door.

My job is to get the most out of the musician to achieve the best performance. Also, at this step we create the sound of the project. Mediocre doesn’t cut it, OK doesn’t cut it, only excellence does. We come here to put in the effort, and you’ll walk out a better musician.

This is not just making shit sound cool or every instrument heard. We need to give the music the emotional impact it deserves, and every project its own identity. And, unlike other producers, I care about the band’s taste.

Mastering is essential for the music to compete in the current market. Songs need to sound loud, albums need to flow, and vinyl has very specific requirements. The last step for the music to come alive.
